The Institution was established in  the year 1977  with a  view  to  impart  Hindi  Pundit Training for Shikshak  course of one  year  duration.  It  is  sponsored by  Hindi  Bharati Academy, a registered  society. The  institution  was  affiliated  to  Hindi Prachar Sabha, Hyderabad.

Till 2008  was the only Hindi Pandit Training  Institution in  Kadapa  District catering the needs  of the  local   schools  for  Hindi  Pandit  in  Kadapa  District  in   particular  and neighbouring districts like Nellore, Anantapur,Kurnool, Chittoor etc. in general. Hence it plays  an   important role  in  Rayalaseema   Area   propagating  Hindi  and   producing qualified  Hindi   Pandits  and fulfilling  the  needs  of   the  schools  for  Hindi  Pandits. Ever  since  it  was  started  in 1977, produced thousands  of   qualified   Hindi  Pandits  who   were   appointed   in   various    schools  under   different    managements.  The Institution  is  not  only  recognized  by  Hindi  Prachar Sabha  Hyderabad   for  which it is affiliated  and  also recognized  by the NCTE and Govt. of Andhra Pradesh.

Hindi  Bharathi   Academy, a  registered  society  manages  the  Institution for which Sri P.Subbi Reddy is the President.  He has vast  experience in Hindi field.  He worked as a Hindi Pandit for 35 years,. He  taught Hindi  for  Central  Govt. employees  for 25 years. He had  worked  as  the Correspondent  and  Principal of  Hindi  Shikshak  Prashikshan Mahavidyalaya,  Kadapa    for several   years.  He    has  written  a  number  of  books beneficial for the  students aspiring  Hindi posts. He is the recipient   of Indira Gandhi Sadbhavana  award  in  2005.  He is  the  Executive member  of  Hindi  Prachar Sabha, Hyderabad  and   the  President of  Andhra  Pradesh  Hindi Prachar Sabha, Hyderabad. With  his  vast  experience, he  guides  the staff  and students in right   direction  and suggest   ways  and   means  for  providing  quality  education  for  the development of the Institution. He is the source of inspiration to the staff and students.
